Flame & Citron

Danish Special Effects Service has just wrapped up, their part in the biggest Danish Second World War movie ever made last week. For over half a year, DSFX has been prepping for the movie about two resistance fighters called Flame and Citron, and their fight during the Second World War.

The film is based on a true story and stars Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale) and Thure Linhardt as Resistance fighters who carried out assassinations during the German occupation of Denmark.

For the movie, Danish Special Effects Service imported over 60 weapons into both Czech Republic and Germany, where large parts of the movie was filmed. Over 3000 bullethits we're used and some of the high-lights include a scene where an actor is shot by over 100 German Soldiers at the same time, all done via. wireless.
