Danish Special Effects Service has more than a dozen different wind machines for any situation imaginable.

Over the years our number of wind-machines has dramatically increased as more and more movies required bigger and more extreme wind machines. Furthermore during the recent years, our windmachines has found a new purpose as a mean to further add realism in movies with large amounts of computer graphics and green-screen.

As movies progressivly add more and more computer graphics it also becomes more and more obvious that the scene has been filmed in front of a green-screen inside a studio unless subtle things in the frame moves, such as tree branches, grass, an actors outfit or their hair, and this is where we now rent alot of our windmachines to.

For the movie "Islands of Lost Souls" we were among many other things, hired to do wind effects in every single scene with green-screen, which was around 90% of the movie.
