Skin Hits

Skin hits are both an dramatical and extremly good looking effect!

it's a special kind of bullethit which can be used to simulate a projectile hitting the actor, in places where a normal squib would be impossible to hide, or simply too dangerous.

The skin hit is delievered via a blow pipe type of device, and looks especially good in closeups, which could be, for example, a closeup of an actor being shot point blank in the forehead. It is both extremely safe, and produces no sound at all.
